Hotel + Residential home Hirschengrün

The history of the Hotel “Zum Hirschen” in Salzburg’s Elisabeth-Vorstadt goes back to the 16th century. In 1830 the current owner family acquired the inn. Together with the Dietrich Untertrifaller office, we renovated the hotel and expanded it with modern architecture. In addition to the completely renovated hotel, 40 apartments plus two studios on the ground floor and an underground car park are being built under the name “Am Hirschengrün”.

The inner courtyard with flower garden, kitchen garden, play area and open spaces offers hotel guests and residents a green oasis of rest and relaxation. The new urban building block “Am Hirschengrün” represents a holistic living concept that combines a hotel, restaurants, gardens and offices.

The project was implemented in collaboration with the architecs Dietrich Untertrifaller.
