Residential park

The Wohnpark Altenmarkt is located in the recreation area of the market town at the foot of the Schlatterberg. It forms an urban demarcation between the offsets of the single- and multi-family homes, the hotels, and sports facilities. The size is correspondingly large and geared toward commercial purposes, while protruding elements and recesses, as well as the design with horizontal bands, create the pertinent transition between the various typologies.
Connected by a central stairwell, the 11 flats of the three-floor structure are positioned in the corner areas, while roofed communal areas open the flats in the natural surroundings. The structure is materially and colourfully integrated into the natural environment, thus providing a unique accent.
