The current connection between palace and school shall be replaced with a new structure. Alongside an increase in rooms, this offers a public interface between the outer areas, the boarding and the school.

It is not centrally located as a connecting element. Instead the new facility approaches the schoolhouse and thus emphasizes the distinct distance from the palace.

Through this entirely glass connection of the new access to the school building, old and new blur together into one clear line. The new structure shall confidently integrate into the current situation and simultaneously offer an equal counterpart to the palace.
