COMP Special-care home

A clear structure will be situated as an urban demarcation to the heterogeneous structural surroundings. Its building volume will be structured by a recess and will thus become a mediator with the present neighbouring structures and environment.

By raising the structure (FFOK EG) to the level of the surrounding dam and axial positioning of the recess, this area will become part of the greenery and recreational area of the Dornbirner Ache, and thus part of everyday life there.

The project was developed in cooperation with sps architekten.
